Foundations in Finance – Instructor Nikki Morris
This course is offered to 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students only. Foundations in Finance, created by Dave Ramsey, will equip students with the ability to manage money and better understand a broader scope of what’s involved in personal finance. Students will cover essential topics such as how to budget, save money, spend wisely, invest, figure out insurance and taxes, plan for college and career, understand housing and real estate, and prepare for retirement. There will also be a focus on biblical stewardship.
This course utilizes in person group discussion and lecture, online modules with videos and text, case studies, lesson-based activities, and workbook-based learning to teach and reinforce the topics being covered.
